Zoning with Single Switch in the Blade Enclosure for EVA4400

Friends,

I have a situation where we have deployed c3000 and EVA4400 with Single Switch config.

As per my teams observation EVA is performing not upto the mark.

I am herewith enclosing the confg. details of the same.

Could you plz help me in resolving the issue.

Regards
Sree

There's no performance data on the word documents you attach, only a list of what's installed.

There are no siginificant errors on the switch ports.
The EVA does not have the lastest firmware version. Not that it matter for performance, but updating you avoid several known bugs.

You should capture performance data with EVAperf to be able so say anything about performance.

For example:

evaperf all -cont 5 -dur 3600 -csv -fo data.csv

Hi,

vcespon... have you particluarly looked at the zoning configuration document...

I looked at the zoning part and felt that if the controllers were kept apart then the large number of rogue I/O's that were happening could be avoided leading to performance improvements....

We look forward to a proper advise on correct EVA connection architecture and appreciate all help....
