brocade 4024 firmware

I'm about to start the upgrade process to eventually get my switches to 6.2.2. However one of my switches is woefully behind on revisions - 5.0.5 - and I need to first upgrade it to 5.2.1b before I can start applying the subsequent firmware updates. For the life of me I cannot find 5.2.1b anywhere. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
Michael

I have a link to version 5.1.0, you can update from it to 5.3.1a

Re: brocade 4024 firmware

Unless I'm just not understanding the upgrade steps - which is entirely possible - the release notes for 5.3.1a still show 5.2.1b as the earliest release for my switch. Its listed as Brocade 4Gb SAN Switch for HP c-Class BladeSystem. Am I just confused on this?

Thanks,
Michael

Re: brocade 4024 firmware

Ah, it's true, the 4024 is the c-Class bladesystem SAN switch, so you need 5.2.1b.
Not available on HP FTP public site, but available internally. Ask them to upload it to somewhere you can get it.

Re: brocade 4024 firmware

If you still need 5.2.1b or any other interim SAN switch firmware not posted on hp.com, email me and I can create a temporary ftp site and upload to it.
