can msa30 daisy chaining?

Hi everyone, i wnat to know, is that possible to daisy chain msa30 MI Dual bus enclosure? if yes, how? if no, is there any documentation that say it?

Not possible and you don't need a documentation about this.

The SCSI IDs are fixed (0..5+8 for both half), so by daisy chaining you will duplicate all the IDs.

thx thorsten, I just want make sure bout this.my partner had design 2 msa30 to connect to server with just 1 scsi card, and that already delivered to our customer.so we need re-design it, thats why I ask documentation to convince them. actually i had try to daisy chain the msa and i got hung because duplicate SCSI ID like you said. but it's ok my customer already agree to re-design it. =) closed thread
