I have configed the pvlink on the hp ia64 machine installed hp-ux11.23v2,the hp ia64 machine is connected to a eva4000 whih more path.
do I need the secure-path?

You don't. You still will see multiple paths to the storage but a volume group will be able to identify the paths that correspond with the same virtual disk.

Solution
Hi,
you will see up to 4 pathes to a vdisk, but you can handle this using pvlinks and don't need secure path.
You don't need it, but you can use it, see:
