email alert configuration on commandview EVA

We have EVA 5000 .we want to get email alert for any HDD failure or any hardware failure in the storage.Now we can see failure happens once we login commandview EVA.
Is there any way t get alert and how to do that.Thanks in advance.

please install the ISEE Package on COmmand View and configure it send emails.

You should also be able to configure snmp traps within CV without installing any other s/w. Not sure if there is one for HDD failure off the top of my head as there are quite a few!! Have a look to see if one or more monitored events suite your needs.
