eva 4000 upgrade

Dear All,
I have an eva 4000 disk array that populated with 4 enclosure and I need to add its disk capacity(but can't purchase a new eva). Now my question is it possible adding two san switch(like two brocade 3250) to eva 4000 and creating a loop (as implemented in eva 6000) to adding more disk enclosure.
Best Regards

Re: eva 4000 upgrade

No, you can't put fabric switches in the EVA back-end and the 4000 is limited to 56 disks.

You would need to upgrade your EVA-4000 to an EVA-6000. That means buying two 'EVA loop switches' (do not buy some random loop switches), additional disk enclosures and disk drives, upgrading the EVA-4000 to unlimited CV-EVA capacity (if not done already) and then buying the EVA-4000-to-6000 license upgrade.
