Extending a vdisk to more than 2 TB is not currently supported.
Creating a vdisk bigger than 2 TB is supported, if the disk group is enhanced, you should be able to do it.

victor, spot on mate, just tested on another eva with spare space and thats it!

created 1.8tb drive and tried extending over 2tb and then deleted it. created another at 2.3tb and then tried to extend it. both failed

this has left me right up a creek without a paddle!!

most poeople wish to win the lottery... mine is that HP release firmware in the next 4 months that will enable me to extend a volume over 2TB and extend disks created larger than 2TB!! :-)
