fibreutils - 12 paths become 3 ??? RHEL 5.3 MSA 2312fc
I have a MSA 2312fc with 3 volumes. When I build RHEL 5.3 I can see four paths to each volume.
When I install fibreutils I can only now see 3 paths.
[root@dba ~]# lssd
sda 0,0,0,0 HP MSA2312fc M110
sdb 0,0,0,1 HP MSA2312fc M110
sdc 0,0,0,2 HP MSA2312fc M110
I have lost 9 sd devices.
I want to run multipath but now I cannot see the 12 paths to multipath together.
How did the 12 become 3 ?
What is in fibreutils to do this and how do I get back to seeing 12 paths ?

QLogic adapters? It sounds like you have installed a little more and this configured the adapter driver to do the multipathing.
I haven't checked with the latest drives, but once used the following commands to flip:
# cd /opt/hp/src/hp_qla2x00src
# ./set_parm
