firmware for EVA-4400

Folks,
Need to upgrade firmware on my EVA-4400. Could any one point me to right place. Also, the term firmware and XCS confuses me. Is "XCS" firmware for the EVA array? There are too many components on the array, so dont really firmware upgarde will upgrade which portion and thanks in advance for giving education on EVA-array firmnware.

The XCS version is firmware for the EVA.

You need to upgrade Command View to 9.2 and then to 9.2.1

Make sure to read all the release notes and upgrade documents.

If you contact HP support you can request that a support engineer performs the upgrade.

The EVA array firmware is called XCS.
The most current version is XCS09534000.

In most cases the upgrade can be done online.
