hello,
we have two Brocade BladeSystem 4/12 SAN Switch, we forgot the password for one of the switch, is it there anyway by which we can reset the password of this brocade san switch

i tried to login with root and factory username, still not able to login.

no, you can not reset the switch password. only brocade can do this an this is not cheep.

The default passwords for the *root* and *factory* users are also *password*.

Hi,

If you have not set the password for the boot prom then you can use the commands in the following pdf to get the steps to reset the password.

If that does not work then contact HP and they will charge you for the reset.
