how to Connect disk enclusure (AG638-63001) to Server without storage controller !
Hello all !!!
I want to connect a disk enclusure to my server with HBA card and fiber channel cable directly !! but i dont want to use EVA controller !!!
Can i do this ????

How do i do this ??????

thanks for your help !!!
I Connect my disk enclusure to windows server 2008 R2 and this worked !!!!
windows can recognize 12 hard disk independently !!!

i beleive you need a 4gb fibre card for this to work as the shelf doesnt auto negotiate
What i would like to know is does the shelf support non hp disks? the sas/sata 6gb shelf does
