how to identify SAN disks used in configured drives

Hi All,

This might be simple but I am stuck up at the moment, please help.

Problem:
I/O performance of one drives in server has reduced considerably, there are no disk errors in event logs or in ACU.

Physical view of SAN shows no green light on one disk.
Need to know how to identify if this disk is included in configuring the drive.

Thank you,
Imran.

I am assuming that since you are using ACU that you are talking about an MSA?

Best way is to do a SHOW UNITS and then see if that disk is included in any of the UNITS. It may be set aside as a SPARE disk for the UNITS. Or may not be used at all.

SMH is the best tool for looking at the disks.
