hp 2312i - monitor performance

i'm trying to fins a good solution to get metrics from several of these systems. Openview/tivoli are not an option, opstor does not support these devices out of the box. I've tried snmp type setups, like mrtg, to no avail. Can someone please point me in the right direction? i would like to have cpu/useage and i/o metrics.

Maybe something like Zabbix?
