iSCSI Luns are lost when private network is enabled

Hi,

I have two Windows 2003 x64 VM's installed on a Hyper-V role enabled Windows 2008 x64.

iSCSI LUNS were created from CLARiiON and presented to these two VM's for a cluster setup which require private and public networks.

I am able to view these LUNS only when private network is disabled. If this private network is enabled, I cannot see the LUNS, as well cannot connect to this VM from external network.

Configuration Info:
1. Hyper-V host machine has single NIC enabled with IP as 10.10.10.1.
2. Virtual Network was created on the above machine and the physical port was mapped to the above IP.
3. VM's had two NIC's with public as 10.10.10.2 and private as 192.168.1.1
4. iSCSI LUNS are provided from the same sunbet 10.10.10.x.

Issue:
when 192.168.1.1 is enabled, I am not able to see iSCSI LUNS as well cannot connect to this VM thru remote desktop.
If disabled, I am able to see all the iSCSI LUNS and can connect thru remote desktop.

Please help is in rsovong this issue.

Re: iSCSI Luns are lost when private network is enabled

That sounds like a routing problem.
What 'default gateway' is entered?
Can you capture the output of 'show route' for both cases in a simple text file (no Word or RTF files, please) and attach to a response?
.
