iSCSI Multifunction Adapter configuration
Hi All,
I am trying to setupa failover cluster on 2 Windows server 2008R2 servers using iSCSI storage.I am using DL380 G7 servers each with 2 Dual port NC382i multifunction adapters. i have configured the iSCSI ports as in the HP ProLiant Accelerated iSCSI for Windows
User Guide except the iSCSI vLAN. But when i try to rescan the disks in the disk management, the presented disks from iSCSI torage are not visible. Only after i discover them through the microsoft iSCSI initiator the disks are getting visible in the disk management. is it supposed to behave like this? does the iSCSI initiator discovery need to be done even when we are using the multifunction adapters?
