maximum number of zoning in a Sanswitch

HI All, I have some query about number of Zone member in a Zone and max number of Zoning and Zone configuration can be created in a sanswitch... any documents / URL will be highly appreciated..

you can zone as many as you want but only one zone config is allowed..

16,000 zone members per
physical fabric (includes all
VSANs)

8000 zones per switch
(includes all VSANs)

500 zone sets per switch
(includes all VSANs)

Brocade simply says "unlimited"
In brocade it is limited by amount of free memory. You Can find out it by command "cfgsize"

yes i agree with you but what is the cfg size that brocade allows at the max... since i have worked on different models in brocade switches is there any size diff will be there when comparing to Switch classes...

There is
Zone DB max size - xxx Bytes
Available Zone DB size -xxx Bytes

The zone config should not go beyond the size, In a fabric, The lowest available switch memory size is max size you can use for your zone config.
