msa2312fc - cannot connect through GUI

Hello, we bought one msa2312fc few months ago, configured by HP personel. Everything is working fine; I need to add some space (we had reserved some disk space for future needs)to one of my servers, but i can't log on either with IE 7.0.5 neither with firefox 3.6. I was asked to install java (1.6) but on the login pop up window the default username / password does not work (username: manage , password: !manage). The manage user has rights to connect through WBI or CLI interface. I used the serial console to connect, reset password to "!manage" again but still no luck. I'm trying to logon through telnet with the manage account but the system says login incorrect. I'm sure about the username / password (i was reset password with the "set password manage" command successfully.
What i'm missing;
MSA 2312fc, Fabric OS (swd77), Fabos Vesrion=6.2.0d

This is a shot in the dark, but sometimes the HP guys change the manage password to "hpinvent".
