my msa1500cs w ms30 just see 7 disks
hi,
This is my first SAN installation. I have dual controller MSA1500 and MSA30. I have loaded 14 disks into the MSA30 but the MSA1500 controller is only able to see the first 7 disks. I'm connect one SCSI cable, so how i'm config to MSA1500 see all 14 disks?
my system:
1. AA986A MSA1500 controller Shelf (Dual Modular Smart Aray 1000, Dual MSA 1500 fiber chanel I/O Module)
2. 302970 – B21 HP Storageworks MSA 30 DB Storage
Many thanks in advance for you help

Re: my msa1500cs w ms30 just see 7 disks
MSA 30 DB = DUAL BUS
That MSA30 has two connectors on the back, each one is connected to a bus with 7 disks.
You need two SCSI cables from the MSA1500 to the MSA30 (and hence two I/O modules on the MSA1500).
