Hello everybody, I have to initialize an EVA4400 which is connected to a Cisco switch MDS9216i.

The case is not seen, so I have to make the zoning in this switch.

The switch is configured a VSAN that is working very critical, so if you are not creating another VSAN in the same switch and create a zone set and activate it.

My doubt is whether to create this new zone set and activate me off that there is created in another VSAN.

Do you mean to say that one VSAN is working with critical systems and you want to create another? is it a new eva and is it going to connect with new hosts or the existing hosts which is connected to the current VSAN?

Hello again, I did and now no problem. I created a single VSAN for the EVA4400 and the host and I have created a setting within this active zone and has not affected VSAN to VSAN other production.
