"Export Reports" function on Command View 9.3

Hi,

I just used the export reports function for the first time today, but unfortunately it outputs to a file that my computer cannot recognize.  I was curious if anyone had info on how to look at the reports that i've just exported?

Thanks!

P.S. i've tried acrobat reader, notepad++, winrar, and a few others to no avail.

Hey, I'd like to but I don't have an EVA to make a report myself (and the simulator isn't working anymore.. license expired probably).

Is it small enough to attach here (may have to zip it)?  What's the suffix?

Certainly.  No suffix is specified as far as I can tell but i've attached one for your experimental pleasure.  They should be free of any personal information (but i guess i don't know that for a fact since i havent looked at them!)

so this is weird.  I didn't even notice the first time i tried to attach the file, but HP's website won't allow an invalid extension (in this case there isn't one) to be attached to a post.  So that's lame.  Anyone got an FTP i can put it on?

How about you just rename it to something with an extension - for example .txt?

here's one that i just added a .txt extension to, it comes up with some readable text but mostly it's a pile of jumbled garbage.  Have fun with it!

Reports?

Do you talk about performance advisor?

From manual:

Y ou can generate the report in PDF and CSV formats. The reports contain
historical data for the selected performance objects. In CSV format, raw historical performance
data is captured in the report . In PDF format, historical performance data is plotted as charts.
P erformance data in either format is based on the granularity selected...

Hope this helps!

The attached file is ZIP. Rename it from txt to zip and you will see.
