Re: rebuild. MSA 1500 CS
Better run ADU, get and report and send it to someone that can read it. If the rebuild does not finish you may have another disk failing on that MSA.

Re: rebuild. MSA 1500 CS
Hi vcespon!
Here is the report. And i've found this thread http://forums13.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?admit=109447627+1246277102397+28353475&threadId=865929
Could this be my problem?

Re: rebuild. MSA 1500 CS
No, that affects the background parity initialization, should not affect the rebuild (It has high priority).
The ADU does not reveal much, but I think there's another disk giving read errors too:
ErrorText SLOT 4 (ID 2) MSA1500 Array Controller
Controller ROM Revision 7.00
Logical drive 1 status = Ready for recovery
Logical drive 2 status = Ready for recovery
Logical drive 3 status = Ready for recovery
...
Logical drive 7 status = Recovering (rebuilding data on a replaced drive)
SCSI Port 4, Target ID 4, Drive ID 10
Last Failure Reason Hardware error.
SCSI Port 4, Target ID 4, Drive ID 11
Check Condition Request Completed with Error Aborted Command No Additional Sense Information 0x00000000(0) 564971 Read(10) 0x0000 3 days
Check Condition Request Completed with Error Aborted Command No Additional Sense Information 0x00000000(0) 565217 Read(10) 0x0000 3 days
Let it run for some time more, there are no read errors on the last 2 days.
