Re: replication

But SAN to SAN - doesn't this indicate that you don't touch the OS/host?

So that the data is replicated from one SAN to another?

In HP EVA CA for example you do the configuration in Command View.

Re: replication

We need more details and explanations.

DR - DC? What do you mean?
Replicate what? The whole disk? What kind of disks (local or on SAN)?

Is the replication going over SAN or are the disks on SAN?

Do you just want a CLI command from HP-UX that copies the files that have been changed since last backup? Don't you want to use a backup program for this?

Re: replication

Hi

Usually, you replication between disks.
You can have EVAs, XP, etc.. and you must use application for this like Continuous Access.

The Continuous Access is a optional part for Command View (EVA or XP) or RSM (Replication Solution Manager) for EVA.

In those cases, you must have minimum of two sites, and configure Primary Site and Secondary Site.

If you need more details...
