Hello,

would you please provide us the output of the "licenseShow" command. You can run this command from the command-line.

What version of Jave Runtime do you use?

Best regards,
Patrick

Hi,

If there is Zoning license installed and if GUI still does not bring up Zone Tab, possible issue could be with Java Version.

Try deleting Java from the PC, browse back into the switch and let it prompt for a Java install, to check if the Zone tab returns.

Re: san switch 4/8

What is the firmware version on the switch?

It should tell you right on the first page of the web gui.

Or telnet to the switch and run...

version
switchshow

and post the output here.

Re: san switch 4/8

First, what version of firmware is running, and, what username are you using? If *not* "admin", you may (probably?) be running into an issue with the new "Admin Domains". Brocade has a white-paper on their website that discusses them.

With recent versions of the Brocade firmware, there is no "zoning Tab". "Zone Admin" is an option on the treeview panels on the left; close to "Switch Admin" and "Port Admin".

You don't need to delete Java, what you need to do is: get in to the Control Panel, go to the Java Control Panel. Look for Temporary Internet Files, and Delete (all) Files. On mine, the Delete Files button is "inside" the Settings controls.

Dear Smith,

Smith you are giving the right solution ,there is no "zoning Tab" in this version of firmware (6.1.0). the Zone Admin is an option on the treeview panels on the left .

Many thanks ,
