Creating a snapclone is one of the predefined jobs, just chose it on the list of available actions. Fill the name of the vdisk to be cloned, and in which disk group you want the copy.

I just want to take a snapclone and mount it to the server for backup.

Then RSM will see the hosts and vdisks in Command View and you can add the to jobs.
Get RSM 5.0 user guide, it's an excelent manual not only on RSM but on BC and CA in general.

2. EVA management servers
Input the user name and password to access your Command View server. The connection status must say "NORMAL". Then RSM will be able to communicate with Command View and do things on the EVA.
Until you get this solved, RSM cannot do anything.
