upgrade license to CV 9.3

Hi:

I have a mess in my head. I have read many posts but it's not clear for me. The question:

I have an EVA 4400 with CV 8.0 and XCS 090003000, and I'm going to upgrade to XCS 09534000, so also need upgrade CV (in this case, the last one is 9.3).
Are my licenses for CV 8 ('CV General' and 'Business Copy') valid for CV 9.3 ??
Or do I have to purchase an upgrade license or similar??

You use the same license.

It's only if you upgrade from before 7 that you need to worry about that.

But in CV you can do "export licenses" if you want to be on the safe side :)

P.s. Don't forget to upgrade the management module also.

You just deinstall the old CV version, reboot the server and install the new CV version. CV will pick up the license from the array. To be safe, keep a copy of the licenses.
If you donwload the CV ISO image, you will find the firmware for the ABM module there.
