zoning

i have EVA 4000 in Working. I want to enable zoning. will it disturb my systems when i enable zoning at first time.

Hard to say.

If you made a mistake in your zoning config, a server may be not longer have access to the array.

So be careful!

Some years back I've seen a server crashing when we activated a zoning change (it was not related to that server).

If this is first-time zoning, I would first verify all redundant paths, than change one Fabric first and verify all paths again. Only one Fabric = downtime -- an error can easily disrupt data traffic.
