Hi ,
We are installing Mapr. While installing we got the error like /etc/ssh/sshd_config does not exist. We are trying different ways to solve this issue from one week, still not able to sovle this issue.
We are installing using mapr-setup.sh script 3.1 version. We ran the installer script as root user. When asked SSH Username , we gave a non root user. and we got the below error. We didn't have root credentials and the user used here has sudo privileges. Is it compulsory to have root credentials?
Kindly help us solving this issue.
(c)ontinue with install, (m)odify options, or save current configuration and (a) bort? (c/m/a) [c]: c

SolutionHi Sitaram,
As a prerequisites
Ensure that the default umask for the root user is set to 0022 on all nodes in the cluster.
Installer must have SSH access to all nodes that you want to include in the cluster.
For more details check on the prerequisites and Installation guidelines
Thanks
I work for HPE
