Nimble storage in a Fedramp certified environment
We are in the process of upgrading our Fedramp hosting environment to use Nimble storage and have run in to an issue where the array "should" be allowed connectivity back to HPE for InfoSight. is there anyone using Nimble in a Fedramp environment that would share their experience?
TIA

Re: Nimble storage in a Fedramp certified environment
You're best off asking your Storage SE who can probably help you.
To answer your point re Infosight - it's certainly desirable to have the array heartbeat to Infosight for support and AI automation, but it's not the end of the world if you can't enable it. You'll still benefit from the crowdsourced enhancements or hardening of code we've made due to Infosight whether it's enabled or not.

Re: Nimble storage in a Fedramp certified environment
We are engaging other HP contacts through the rep side of things and hopefully we can get information they auditors are looking for from them.
Can you explain what you mean by "benefit from the crowdsourced enhancements or hardening of code we've made due to Infosight whether it's enabled or not."? if we're not able to utilizat InfoSight for any monitoring the only other approved wasy is OP5 which is a derivitive of Nagios. is there something else that you are referring to?

Re: Nimble storage in a Fedramp certified environment
@bjdboyer or anyone else in a similar situation, is there a similar solution that is recommended for customers who have to meet FedRAMP certification? What have other FedRAMP customers done to benefit from InfoSight (or similar) analytics?
