replace Nimble witness server

Hi, I have to replace a "old" server with the witness service. Can I shutdown for 4-6h the witness server, and then do a new centos installation on a new hardware? The old existing  IBM server  was installed with this source  nimble-witness-opt-rel-goa.1.0-617000-f578e94e41e0.x86_64.rpm), the 2 Nimble are working with OS 5.1.3.100-668356-opt.

On the Nimble web page , i can see a newer version (nimble-witness-opt-rel-hana-683130-caa1d6539bfe.x86_64.rpm). Is this version ok for the nimble OS 5.1.3.100xx)?

If the 2 nimbles are healthy I can shutdown the IBM witnss server until the new on is created?

Hello,

Your question might be better served by speaking with Nimble Support.

I can tell you though that the 5.1.4.0 witness is ONLY to be used with NimbleOS 5.1.4.0 and above. Anything below that needs to use the 5.1.2.0 witness - which I believe is what you have now.
