8 physical functions per NIC port - 4 PFs missing on NIC port 2
I read in Release note for VC 4.5 firmware as well as Oneview 3.0 that 8 physical functions are supported per physical NIC port (650 FLB and 20/40 F8 module)
In Oneview I do not see the numbering set up correctly when I try to configure it. I have Gen9, 650FLB, 20/40F8 supported configuration
server profile --> add connection. I can see the following PFs listed in the drop down list:
1a., 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e, 1f, 1g, 1h [ 8 physical functions on FLOM port 0]
2a, 2b, 2c, 2d [ 4 physical functions on FLOM port 1]
Wondering Why is 2e, 2f, 2g, 2h not listed?

Re: 8 physical functions per NIC port - 4 PFs missing on NIC port 2
Is your HPE OneView appliance a new 3.00 or did you upgrade from an older version?

Can you check your Logical Interconnect where the server connects to? Verify that both VC interconnects have the same firmware version installed. They must have Virtual Connect 4.50 firmware or greater installed.

Re: 8 physical functions per NIC port - 4 PFs missing on NIC port 2
Can you provide a screen shot of the Server Hardware Type? You may be able to resolve it by rebooting Interconnect Bay 2, if you can afford the downtime of that module while it reboots. If not, you may need to open a support case to resolve this.

Re: 8 physical functions per NIC port - 4 PFs missing on NIC port 2
attached is screen shot of HW type. it does show 16 virtual functions.
I rebooted the 2040F8 module in both bays .
deleted the server profile. and created new one. Still 4 PFs missing.
