I have gone through the details and features of HP OneVIew.
Could anyone clarify me that HP OneView is Upgradation of HP MOE or how it is different from HP MOE ?

Re: Advantages Of HP OneView
Hi,
OneView can be compared with HP SIM and Insight Control.
The functionality of MOE (which is running on top of SIM and Insight Control) is replaced by CloudSystem which integrates with OneView, but which is another series of VM-based appliances...

Bart

SolutionHi,
Not really...
I make the comparison between the products on functionality... MOE has nothing to do with CloudSystem8, 2 entirely different platforms...
MOE IS the orchestration component of CS7 where CS8 is a completely different platform based on OpenStack...

Bart

Re: Advantages Of HP OneView
As Bart said, HP OneView does not replace Matrix Operating Environment (aka HP MOE.) MOE would be a Cloud Orchestration product that is part of our CloudSystem Matrix product.

"MOE has nothing to do with CloudSystem, 2 entirely different platforms..."
This is not true. MOE is the orchestration component to CloudSystem Matrix 7.x. CloudSystem 8 is built upon OpenStack, and currently does not have a MOE equivalent.

Re: Advantages Of HP OneView
**EDIT**
"MOE has nothing to do with CloudSystem, 2 entirely different platforms..."
should be
"MOE has nothing to do with CloudSystem8, 2 entirely different platforms..."
Correct CloudSystem8 is based on OpenStack, MOE (part of CSM7) runs on top of SIM and IC...
