Can we use Openview to build from Baremetal on DL380 Gen10 with Server 2016

Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible to have Openview auto build from baremetal a server such as a DL380 gen10 and install the operating system such as Windows Server 2016.

If so then do I need any additional addons, appliances or extra languages such as python to make it happen?

Regards A

Hi ,

HP OpenView has been retired as from November 1, 2015.

Below is the available documentation on HP Openview

typo.

I mean to say OneView not OpenView.

So the question remains.

Hi ,

Once you configure the ILO on the bare metal server, you may import it to the oneview console and apply all the hardware configurations (creating arrays, BIOS configuration , firmware baselines etc ), however oneview does not have the functionality to deploy the OS. You may deploy the OS from the intelligent provisioning (f10 during boot)
