HPE OneView 4.1 - unable to add physical server to manage

I am working on a new OneView server install.   I am getting the following error when trying to add a physical standalone server.

-----

Unable to add server hardware:

Unable to establish trusted communication with the server.  The Basic Constraint specified in one or more certificates in the iLO's certificate chain is not valid.

Resolution:  Ensure that the iLO is set up with certificates that have Basic Constraint of SubjectType=CA.  Retry importing the server.

---

The ILO 3 server certificate has weird valid dates.  It say

Valid from 11/1/2014 to 9/27/2003.   The expiration is eariler than beginning date.

How do I resolve this?  Is there a way to tell OneView to ignore and trust anyway?

Is self signed certificate supported?

Re: HPE OneView 4.1 - unable to add physical server to manage

Fix this certificate issue before adding to OneView, it is not advisable to disable certificate validation in OV setups - fix are as follow.
