With c3000 chassis and blades we could update server names via an ILO CHIF Driver. That doesnt seem to do the trick for synergy gen 10 compute modules using Oneview. Any ideas?

SolutionThat certainly is not the case. The iLO CHIF driver is supposed to populate the Server OS name into the iLO. As an alternative you can install the AMS Service in your OS. AMS will populate more information into the iLO the iLO CHIF driver will not.
