Is Global Dashboard needed if you only need 1 OneView Server?
Guys,
I have one instance of Oneview managing over 100 servers. I thought Global dashboard was just to manage multiple versions of OneView, which i don't need. But I think i read it gives more info about server hardware than just the normal OneView? is that correct? as if it gives you more info than what is in the standard OneView then i'll look to install the global dashboard.
advice appreciated

No, that is incorrect. OneView Global Dashboard (OVGD) does not collect more information, as it has no ability to connect to an iLO or other device to collect or pull additional information OneView (OV) doesn't already collect. OVGD is used to connect multiple OV appliances for a unified inventory view, and to provide additional reports. So, if you require more reporting that the OV built-in reports cannot provide, you should use OVGD.
