Is HP OneView Replacing HP SIM
I have been fighting with alerting in OneView or a few months now. I have HP SIM running at this time and it works fine.
I have been told that OneView is the successor to SIM. Can anyone confirm this statement?
If it is not true, I am going back to SIM only. OneView seems quite good, but the alerting is just too much to figure out.

Re: Is HP OneView Replacing HP SIM
Hi David,
Yes, over time it's planned for the OneView to replace HP/HPE SIM.
There is no official timetable for the exact end of Life of HP/HPE SIM yet. As of today no add features are being planned for HP/HPE SIM.
Depending on your environment You can continue using the HP/HPE SIM or move to OneView.

Re: Is HP OneView Replacing HP SIM
It's true that SIM will be discontinued. Customers wanting that functionality can use OneView. Also, check out the iLO Amplifier Pack.
