Local Storage Best Practices

Should local storage be configured in template? any disadvantages of doing this? i had it not configured in teh template but configured in teh server profile but see errors when doing formware upgrades as says inconsistent. Want the ease of raid etc being configured the first time but dont want to deal with any potential issues after. having oneview manage it lead to potential issues if we move the blade to another bay,etc. ?
