Management Network in OneView managing C7000
Hi everyone. We just installed OneView 4 and imported a C7000 enclosure with a couple of servers to start. I was under the impression that the Management Network was for all of the OA/VC/Interconnect/ILO modules being managed by OneView and that it would assign them addresses as they were brought in. However, this is not the behavior I'm seeing. We created a VLAN for the enclosure using /24 addressing and reserved .100 to .250 for the management network. We initially set IPs for the various components in the same VLAN but below the management range. But OV didn't change them as it brought things in. So I tried manually assigning one of the ports an address in the management range, but OV still showed 0 assigned addresses, which tells me IT wants to manage this range. Could someone please shed some light on how this works? Thanks.
