Monitoring the temperature of server hardware
Hey Guys,
is there a way to monitor the temperature of enclosures and server hardware with HPE OneView in general?
I need to get OneView notifications via e-mail, when the hardware reaches a critical temperature, e.g. 30°.
Thanks for your help!
Edit: I'm using the latest version of OneView (4.00.07) and iLO 4 (Firmware Version 2.55).

Re: Monitoring the temperature of server hardware
The iLO is supposed to generate an alert if the temperature is exceedingly high and would cause a system shutdown. That alert would be received by the appliance monitoring or managing the resource. You could set up a generic Email Alert for Server-Hardware and Critical events/alerts.

Re: Monitoring the temperature of server hardware
Okey, due to a defect A/C in our data center the temperature of a C7000 enclosure climbed up to 33°C and we didn't receive any message.
What temperature is the trigger to generate an alert and is there a possibility to configure this?
The highest temp. in our data centers should be 26°C.
