New BL460c GEN9 not recognized
We have just added two Gen9 blades to our Oneview managed enclosure, however in the activity i see an error message stating that the insert has failed. OA firmware and VC firmware are 4.31, oneview is version 1.20. When I open the OA it looks like the blades aren't getting an ILO IP address, it just states acquiring and the device bay shows "host is unnamed" instead of ProLiant BL46c Gen9. We also installed two of these same blades to an encosure that is not managed by Oneview and it does not have any problems.
How can I see more information about this task?
Server hardware xxxxxx, bay 6 could not be inserted.
Retrieve enclosure information
Configure SSO on OA
Configure SNMP on OA
Configure NTP on OA
Validate firmware
Refresh fans and power supplies
Refresh Servers and Interconnects
See the task /rest/tasks/A3180441-4A3D-43E5-BB75-D955E4DF4C68 for more details. Refresh the enclosure.

Re: New BL460c GEN9 not recognized
How are iLO IP Addresses being allocated?
If EBIPA, issue "show ebipa" from the OA CLI.
If external, issue "show server list" from the OA CLI.

Re: New BL460c GEN9 not recognized
The ILO IP addresses are provisioned by an external DHCP Server. If I run show server list i get the following output:
Bay iLO Name iLO IP Address Status Power UID Partner
--- ----------------------------- --------------- -------- ------- --- -------
1 ILOxxxxxxxxxxxx 10.3.5.7 OK On Off
2 ILOxxxxxxxxxxxx 10.3.5.12 OK On Off
3 ILOxxxxxxxxxxxx 10.3.5.6 OK On Off
4 ILOxxxxxxxxxxxx 10.3.5.13 OK On Off
5 [Acquiring] 0.0.0.0 Other On Off
6 [Acquiring] 0.0.0.0 Other On Off

Re: New BL460c GEN9 not recognized
So either you have an external DHCP issue, or your OA is configured to support VLAN tagging, and your iLO's have been assigned to a VLAN that doesn't have a DHCP server (or an ip helper statement added to your gateway to forward DHCP requests to a centralized DHCP server.)
