OneView for vCenter 8.2.1 - CA signed certificate - SAN attribute missing in CSR

I would like to install a CA signed certificate to OneView for vCenter 8.2.1 

When creating the CSR inside OV4VC the hostname is only populated in the common name atribute (CN)

A subjectaltname atribute (SAN) is not incldued in the CSR

Chrome and other Browser no longer support/trust certificates that are missing the SAN attribute, see e.g. here: https://www.chromestatus.com/features/4981025180483584

So my question: how do I create a CSR for OV4VC that includes the SAN attribute?
