SSO to iLO from OneView with "Operator-Permissions"
Hi all,
when I sign in to the OneView as a ServerAdministrator and go to iLO via SSO I got full rights on iLO. When I go with a ReadAccount to iLO I only have User permissions on iLO e.g no RemoteConsole.
Which kind of account I have to use to got Operator Priveledges on iLO, means no "Configure iLO" and no "Administer Users" but all others.
Thanks in advance.
Tom

Re: SSO to iLO from OneView with "Operator-Permissions"
What you experience today is expected. HPE OneView currently does not offer an operator like set of iLO permissions.

Thanks for your response. Is there anything planned for future releases of OneView?

Re: SSO to iLO from OneView with "Operator-Permissions"
We do and is prioritized against other features on our backlog. I cannot comment on future, un-announced plans in a public forum.

Re: SSO to iLO from OneView with "Operator-Permissions"
Hi,
currently I am in the process of evaluating the HPE Onview Appliance (Release 4.10.01-0348545 ).
Do I miss something, or is there still no Role that can sso users from oneview to ILOs with Operator-Privileges?
This would be essential to be able to replace our SIM...
Is there a timeframe we can expect this Role to become available?
CU,
Nico
