[Solved] ov4vc 8 install no plugin vcenter 6

did a fresh install, closed vcenter 6 web client. the plugin is not available, checked /mob not listed there either. all vms on same subnet. rebooted vcenter appliance rebooted ov4vc as well. please help

you know i have no idea.
but this is what i did. made sure i followed every minute detail in the install doc
Made sure fqdn for host name
rebooted vcenter prior to install ov4vc
made sure every user was logged out of VC
Installed via thick client
All 3 vnics set to the internal network
make sure everything is followed to a T
As soon that was done it worked first shot. if you dont see the plugin in web client something wasnt followed correctly, i mean its so friggen touchy.

I did not find it all that touchy, but there is a very definitive set of steps to follow. Nothing crazy however.  I documented the steps I took in/t5/HPE-OneView/ov4vc-cannot-enable-plugin-ov4vc-8-amp-vcenter-6/td-p/6896313

I think the removal of old extensions via the MOB and restart of the vsphere web client or reboot of vCenter is the crucial step(s).
