Unable to connect from HP OneView for Vcenter to OneView server
Hi all!
Unable to connect from HP OneView for Vcenter to OneView server.
I got a message:
Cannot Add Credentials due to invalid host.
OneView version was first 1.20.01. Then I upgraded to 1.20.03. Didn´t help.
Version for OneView for Vcenter is 7.6.
Best Regards
/Mikael Christenson

Do you have an auth directory configured? Of so, check what credentials you are trying to use.

Re: Unable to connect from HP OneView for Vcenter to OneView server
What version of the plugin are you trying to install? I recently came across a similar issue *when using the 7.6 plugin) where the message is exatly the same as you provided, and I could log into the appliance from the Windows host I was installing the plugin on. After debugging the issue, it turns out that there can be an issue with creating the DB the plugin uses, which causes this false error. I would suggest you uninstall the plugin, and then install it again to see if it resolves your issue.

Re: Unable to connect from HP OneView for Vcenter to OneView server
Hello,
I have the same issue.
I've install the previous version (7.5.4) and it's OK.
I don't have issue with DNS (vCenter and OneView are in the DNS, on the same network).
I try to uninstall, rebbot and reinstall, but it's the same issue. I try to install 7.5.x and upgrade it : same issue. Even i'm using Administrative priviliege to do the installation...
Do some other peasple have the same issue ?

@LoicBouquet
I would suggest you open a support case for your issue. The forum here is not an official avenue for product support, only community discussions and possible solutions. Product defects should go through the Customer Response Center.
