Hi!
I'm running Oneview 3.0 standard, and I've been succesful of connecting ab 100 servers, c7000, etc., but my 4th 3PAR just won't cooperate. It has the same login as my 3 others, and is on the same subnet.
The 3 I've had success with are 7200 and 7200C (all 3.2.1 MU5).
I'm not able to connect to my 8200 running 3.2.2 MU3
(I've tried adding usoin IE and Chrome..)
Message is: "Unable to connect to the storage system." Check IP etc..
Anyone seen this?
Regards
Ivar

SolutionPlease make sure that wsapi is started on your storage system. SSH into the service processor and run 'getwsapi'. You can force a restart with stopwsapi -f and then startwsapi.
Also, please know that HPE OneView is not intended for general purpose monitoring of HPE StoreServe (aka 3PAR) storage systems. It does not replace SSMC or IMC.

Re: Unable to connect my 4th 3PAR system
Thanks for answering.
When I ran the command, I got this status:
cli% getwsapi
Disabled Inactive Disabled 8008 Enabled 8080 1.5.3 24 0 15 https://x.x.x.x:8080/api/v1
I did what you suggested:
cli% startwsapi
The Web Services API Server will start shortly.
cli% getwsapi
Enabled Active Disabled 8008 Enabled 8080 1.5.3 -- -- 15 https://x.x.x.x:8080/api/v1
Now I was able to connect perfectly :)
I fully understand that OneView does not replace SSMC or IMC. As far as I see right now, I will not do the manual work in importing all the VVOLs, etc from 3PAR config.
It would be nice to know what are the criterias for the "Green" status of the 3PAR...?
Regards

Re: Unable to connect my 4th 3PAR system
Hi again!
The reason for asking about the "Green" status in OneView, is that I have a 3PAR with "Yellow" warning status in SSMC and IMC, but it's nice and green in OneView.. :)
..I have a failed physical drive in that system.
