VCM migration to OneView issue

Hi!

I am migrating 4 enclosures into HP OneView 1.2. I did not managed to import the second enclosure into the earlier created Enclosure group. Is it possible to add the 4 enclosures into 1 enclosure group after completing the import?

Hope to hear from you soon!

As long as all enclosures contain the same interconnect layout, and uplink port configuration, you can re-use the same Enclosure Group that was created by the first VCM Migration operation.

Re: VCM migration to OneView issue

If i understand correctly...

After the first  enclosure was migrated  there was a Enclosure group

If the second enclosure was configured identical to the firts i could have add this enclosure to the Enclosure group.

En same for the last 2.

That did not happened... i now have 3 enclosure groups (1 migration to go) just because there were some typos...

Is there a possibilty to consolidate all 4 Enclosure groups to one?

Unfortunately, not without removing the enclosure and then re-adding, which means downtime again.

Thanks Chris!

Hope the community noticed the impact of a small typo during import!
