Primera Service Ports

Hi.  I can't find much information about the management and console ports on Primera.  Can someone point me in the right direction?  I would like to know what is the lights-out capability? If so, does the management port share the same MAC and IP address as the iLO functionality?    Is the console port used solely for serial access?   Thank you

The management port is not the same as an iLO port on a DL or BL server. https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docLocale=en_US&docId=emr_na-a00088909en_us page 46 explains how the management ports should be cabled. Once the array has been set up access (via the management port) would be over SSH or via SSMC for storage allocataion. Access to the Primera GUI (similar to the 3PAR Service Processor) is over HTTPs.

There is no lights out functionality per se.  The console/service port is for HPE Support engineers only and is used for inital configuration of the array and access when the management (IP) is down.
