Adding nodes to an existing 2 node cluster.

Hi Everyone,

Hope all of you are doing well.

I would like some help to clarify a question.

Is there some issue in adding 1 new simplivity node to a existing 2 node simplivity cluster? I mean, in question of being necessary to rebuild the cluster configuration?

Thanks a lot,

Re: Adding nodes to an existing 2 node cluster.

Hi Alex:

There are some logistical requirements that need to be followed, but you should be able to add a node to a cluster.

More specifically, the nodes should be the same model, it needs to be added with the same version of Omnistack, should have the same network configuration as the Deployment Manager checks the existing cluster and wants it to match...

Afterwards, and depending on the version of Omnistack you are running, you may be able to remove the arbiter.
