Backup to remote site-SimpliVity
I have a scenario whereby 2 production SimpliVIty nodes and 1 DR SimpliVity node. We are planning to direct connect 2 production SimpliVity node (for storage & federation) and 1G management network. When I configured the remote backup to DR site, will the backup traffic route through management network or Federation network?

Re: Backup to remote site
Simplivity Backup goes via Simplivity Federation network.

Re: Backup to remote site
So is that means the remote backup will not works since we are using direct connect for the storage & federation network on production nodes?

Re: Backup to remote site
Not that i'm aware of. Direct connect is only supported with 2-node cluster. If you wish to add 3rd node, you must reconfigure (connect existing 2 nodes to network switch) and extend yout network to secondary site.
Maybe you should open a support ticket to HPE, just to be sure.
