Could SimpliVity node connect MSA with 10Gb nic or FC card? And use the volumes to create datastore?
Hi,
Due to limited cost, we could only bue one simplivity H node on DR site, but the capacity is not enough.
And we have veeam license bought before.
If the answer is yes, we could backup some VMs to msa using
veeam.
How time flies~~~

Simplivity does not support the attachment of non Simplivity storage to Simplivity nodes other then for migration purposes.there is no issue as at the ESXi layer as there is no real difference between a SimpliVity ESXi and an a Standard ESXi.You can request permission via your account team who can get approval for running in non standard configurations.
